Is it just me or does she seem kinda understanding of Lelouch? Even after loosing her nobility she doesn't seem upset at all, she waved off Nina's comment she was about to make too towards the end of the series.

See does know about his True heritage about he's prince a former prince, she even asked lelouch in season 1 did anyone find out about it.

I think it was said it season 1 that the Ashford family got there status taken away from them and they use to be apart of the Britannia's Kingdom.

Yes I do remember that I think that's why she was supposed to marry Earl I-forgot-his-name-the-engineer-guy to get her family back their status. But what I mean I almost feel like she isn't mad at him for what he did, she shows no signs of a grudge even though he pretty much is responsible for everything that's happened. Not completely but his initiation as Zero started the chain of events.

She understands Lelouch because they both suffered a loss in fortune. Lelouch lost his mother and status as a prince in every way except name, and Mily lost her noblity. At Ashford, Milly was most likely compensating for her loss of noblity by controling everything at the school, which is why she repeated her seniro year; she didn't want to leave her place of power. But she accepted her flaws and decided to be true to herself; which is why she chose to break things with Lloyd and be a newsreporter
